Christos Theofilis is a Greek visual artist born in 1956 in Piraeus, known for his expressive paintings, mixed‑media works and, more recently, digital / computer art. He founded the alternative cultural hub ART‑ACT (art‑act@tellas) which serves as a platform for his own projects and for collaborations with other artists

His career spans over 160 solo exhibitions—from early shows like Epithanatios Synthesi (1981) and The Moon (1989) to recent mixed‑media pieces such as Fragile Journey (2007) and Malevich’s Grave (2003) displayed at Ekfrasi – Yianna Grammatopoulou in Athens 

. After a long hiatus, he returned to the scene with the Portrait of Dorian Gray exhibition at the same gallery (Nov 20 – Dec 8)
